The KT8APR Repeater and Dstar Gateway will be going off the air September 30, 2017. There will be no reconsideration.

I realize people want a reason for this action.

The maintenance costs on the Dstar repeater is coming out of one person's pocket, and I'm not using it. I have other interests which are more important to me. I would prefer putting my money into projects I enjoy, and let those along for the free ride find their own way to enjoy the hobby.

When I was going to take the repeater down earlier I was met with several individuals promising support and assistance. There has been none given, so now it's time to move on.

The entire system will be placed on E-Bay in the coming months. It will not be parted out. If you are interested in it, watch EBAY. See list below.

If you are a registered user of the repeater you will be deleted from the database. You'll have to register somewhere else.

Please do not write or call asking me to keep it on, or to give you the equipment.
